Movie Shockwave concept colors by AcidWing Movie Shockwave concept colors by AcidWing
And here's the colored version for the tfw2005.com contest...black didn't work so well, so I went with a dark turqoise/blue color scheme since I saw a bomber with that similar color when I was searching google images...anyways, hope you all enjoy! Again, any feedback is most welcome.

PS Please full view. Thanks!

**gotta get back to doing another 1000 online multiple choice qs...*

Update: Rough TF scheme for those of you wondering how he transformed from one mode to the other.

Impressive work. A pity Michael Bay EPIC FAILed to make Shockwave an interesting- or even intimidating- character in 'Dark of the Moon'.

Thank you. I thought the Dark of the Moon design was imposing, but yeah, I agree, it was devoid of any character.

I really love the concept you've managed to pull here for Shockwave. Having him be a B-2 Stealth Bomber is a pretty good earth alt mode for him to have, only thing is the robot mode looks a little too wide and the more I look at it this really should have been Lugnut. Still the amount of detail put into this is incredible and very well cared for.

Really beautiful work as always mate. Keep it up.

Thanks very much, TheSkullgrin140. I admit I took liberties with how much mass can fit in a B-2 Stealth bomber, but was doing my best to emulate the movieverse, while having some fun. Nice suggestion, possibly, future remold and repaint with a fture movie, Lugnut.;)

A B-12 stealth bomber transformer..... that's an overkill of epicness! Love those sinister colors!

...but, but he looked so cool in the movie.;)

But seriously, I was hoping he would do more. Maybe, they'll do him justice in the reboot/"revision."

True, but, and I don't say this lightly, yours looks way like an actual transforming robot. Infinitely cooler.

I'd be happy if he devastated a city. Just one, Earth's got loads of settlements, we wouldn't miss it. A quick city obliteration, a minimum of him transforming at least twice (Seriously, him not transforming just makes me jipped), and an epic fight with there guys at once with him mostly winning. Thats a Shockwave we'd love. Oh and give him a laser weapon of some sort, don't just make that entire gun arm of his a regular ol machine gun.

it is only logical, total anihilation of Autobot forces requires firepower of a greater magnitude, shockwave shall prevail!

It's really nice, he definitely looks totally badass, but more than 2/3 of the plane is already his shoulders. When transformed, where does all this mass go???

i see him more as a b52-stratofortress, since he is of massive size and bulk.but i absolutely the way you conceived him, simply beautiful.

Thanks for the kind comments. Yeah, I an imagine him as a B52 fortress, but wanted an alt mode to emphasize speed and stealth vs. Megatron's chracter of brute strength and power.

I totally dig the more alien look of the movie-version Transformers. This is an excellent design for Shockwave - nothing like we'd expect, which is about the way every 'bot design in the series has been. Not that that's a bad thing; alien design for alien beings makes perfectly good sense to me. :D

The four-arm look is just *cool* and I like the way that you incorporated some of that hunched-over look of Jetfire with the broad-shouldered, bird-legged look of the general Seeker design. And that gun... Ohhh, man do I want to see the damage radius of that gun...

Thanks for your input, rachelm5! I appreciate the fact that you understood the approach I was going for with this design, since most of the movie designs look nothing like their original counterparts, sans of course some key elements.

Looking forward to what the "real" movie Shockwave looks like in TF3.:)
